The number of investors recognizing the appeal of geothermal energy is growing globally. Countries like Turkey witness huge investor demand, with many companies conducting surveys and preparing for investments.
Although continued government support and planned feed in tariffs bolster geothermal growth there are still several barriers associated with geothermal energy investments. Tapping the large potential of such geothermal resources would require not only technical, but also financial know-how and especially the ability to develop customised risk mitigation solutions to support private investors.
As certain risks (e.g. geological, economical, technical, legal and operative) are typical for geothermal investments a professional project management will help to define a mitigation strategy and shall ensure the proper investment decision.
